New team appointed to the Brussels office of Finnish Road Transport Organizations and the Federation of Finnish Enterprises
The joint lobbying unit of Finnish road transport organizations and the Federation of Finnish Enterprises in Brussels, has appointed a new member to the team starting August 28th.
Ms. Mira-Maria Kontkanen, Advisor, who has been working for the past year as an advisory intern in the Brussels office, will continue her work as an EU-advisor for the Federation of Finnish Enterprises. She will be focusing especially on SME and entrepreneurship policies.
Newly appointed Ms. Elisa Vornanen, Junior Advisor, will be concentrating on European Union issues and lobbying in the transport and mobility sector. She has recently worked in the Brussels Office of Finnish Agriculture, Forestry and Cooperatives where she focused especially on climate and energy policies. In addition to this, her international experience includes working at the Permanent Representation of Finland to the OECD, as well as studying in the Université Catholique de Lyon, France and in the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She has a Masters’ degree in European law from the University of Eastern Finland.
The Brussels office is led by Mr. Pasi Moisio, Permanent Representative to the EU, who is also a member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
