Finnish Transport and Logistics SKAL provides a diverse range of member benefits. Affiliated enterprises may call upon the organisation for expert help in legal matters, problems of haulage finance and taxation, operating licence and labour market issues, and other challenges arising in business. The finest and most experienced specialists in the industry stand ready to assist affiliated enterprises.

These experts can advise members by telephone or in face-to-face meetings, while the member area of the SKAL website provides a comprehensive advisory service answering very many questions of a general nature.

This member area includes a legal section setting out the principal legislation governing the road haulage and logistics sector, and a labour relations section with details of labour law and specialised articles with illustrative examples of how to apply these details in practice. Members may choose from a varied collection of model agreement forms for use when concluding employment and other contracts, and there are also substantial information packs on taxation, haulage finance and technology, and international transport.
