Vocational qualification in logistics
About 700 students enrol annually on courses in Finnish vocational education institutes leading to the vocational qualification in logistics.
Further and specialisation studies in the haulage sector
Further studies in the haulage sector provide the competence to serve in planning, development, expert and managerial capacities in the industry, and to discharge its more demanding service and production duties.
Driver instruction and training in the Finnish Defence Forces
The Finnish Defence Forces began providing driver training in January 2009. This training corresponds to the standard required under the Professional Competence Directive.
Finnish Transport and Logistics – SKAL supports applications by conscripts for Defence Forces driver training, is involved in providing this training, and seeks to ensure that trainees continue to work in the haulage sector.
